BOLTON-BY-BOWLAND CRICKET CLUB DINNER, 31st October 2005

On Saturday 30th October Bolton-by-Bowland Cricket club held their annual dinner and presentation. Held in the Village Hall. The dinner was prepared by Liz Moorhouse, and a fine dinner it was! After the meal the trophies were presented by Alan Clements, the club Chairman and the following trophies were awarded

JOHN THEAKER TROPHY - Outstanding performance in a game that we won: Chris Seed

TONY AND RENE HOLMES TROPHY - Clubman of the Year: Allan Clements, for services to scoring

KEN WATSON TROPHY - Player’s player: Dave Ashton

YORKE TROPHY - Catch of the Season: Phil Smalley

BERT ASTLEY TROPHY - Fielding Award:

HODGSON TROPHY - Most improved player: G Wilson

BOWLING TROPHY - Stephen Booth.

BATTING TROPHY Chris Seed

CHAIRMAN’S AWARD - Colin Darlington

GEOFF BILLOWS TROPHY - Best mid-week performance: Tim Hall

After the trophies had been presented, Allan Clements gave a bouquet of flowers to the club president, Mrs. Bosonnet.
