| Thank you for your co-operation last Thursday when we had
to close school because of the appalling weather and a power
cut. Also a big thank you to Mrs Craig who managed to contact
all parents within an hour.
If severe weather conditions force us to close the school
again then we will inform BBC Radio Lancashire as well as
contacting you individually. Please ensure that all your
contact numbers are up to date.

UNIFORM
A uniform order will be sent off next week. Should you wish
to place an order please ask for a form as soon as possible.
Payment need not be made until receipt.

| Elizabeth Morris spent two days in school this week as part
of her secondary PGCE training at Manchester Metropolitan University.
She spent her time observing lessons, helping with groups
and teaching drama to the Year 5 and Year 6 children.

WANTED—HELPERS
If you have any time either on a regular or ad hoc basis
to come and help in school, please let us know.
We would welcome more volunteers to hear children read or
you might prefer to help with displays or gardening.
