Year 6 SATS begin next week and the rest of the Junior class
will be taking QCA optional SATS at the same time. As you are
probably aware, the Year 2 children no longer have formal tests
but teacher assessments instead.
All the Year 6 children have been working really hard and deserve

PAPER RECYCLING
Our recycling container has been filled already and is due
to be emptied this week. School will benefit financially
whilst also helping the environment. Thank you for your support.

| Mrs Craig is on compassionate leave at the moment, due to
family illness. We are managing the office as best we can,
but I am sure that you appreciate how vital her role is in

INFORMATION CENTRE
Both classes are enjoying their work with Justine and Dave.
Last Friday we all went to look at the information centre
and discussed various landmarks on the journey from school.
This week the children will be designing tiles which will
be made out of clay and displayed around the walls of the
newly refurbished centre.
