ORGANISATION
Classrooms and classes have been renamed in order to fit in
with the new organisation of classes/groups this year.
Reception, Y1, Y2 and Y3 = Class 1
Y4, Y5 and Y6 = Class 2

Old Junior Classroom = Classroom 1
New Junior Classroom = Classroom 2
Infant Classroom = Classroom 3
Early Years area = Role Play area

All children, apart from the Early Years, will now use the
cloakroom in Classroom 2. Class 1 will be based in Classroom
1 for registration and Class 2 in Classroom 2. Classroom 3
will be used for some practical activities with all year groups.
Please contact school if you have any queries or concerns.
There will be a parents evening just after half term to discuss
your child’s progress.

LOST PROPERTY
We have 8 sweatshirts, 4 cardigans and 1 pair of black jogging
bottoms (none of them named), which have not been claimed
by the children. Please contact school if you think any of
these items may belong to your children.

SWIMMING LESSONS
Swimming lessons will begin next Tuesday. The cost per week
is £2 or alternatively you may pay ½ term at
a time. This would mean an amount this ½ term of £12
per child. If there are more than 3 children in one family
our policy has always been to only charge for two. Pleases
make any cheques payable to LCC.

SCHOOL DINNERS
Mrs Garnett, our school cook has accepted a new appointment as cook at Christ
Church Primary School, Colne, which is much nearer to her home. She thoroughly
enjoyed her time at Bolton by Bowland and we wish her well in her new post.
We welcome Mrs Bulcock as our new temporary cook. She will be with us for approximately
4 weeks until a permanent appointment is made.
